Lesson fees
Lessons will run for a half hour each week (or 45 minutes by request) effective September 9, 2024 to the week of June 16, 2025.
Lessons will be paid monthly or by term, based on $25/ 30 minute lesson ($37.50 for 45 mins). Fees are due by the first lesson of the month for the entire month.
***Please note*** Each year, I take an extra week off in April around Spring break to go see my husband's family in England. I'll keep you all posted with exact dates as the time gets closer!
Payments
Tuition can be paid in the following ways:
-
E-transfers, cash, or cheque due on the 1st lesson of each month for the entire month
-
3 equal payments for September-December, January-March, and April-June, either by e-transfer, or by post dated cheque.
-
Please contact me for monthly amounts.
-
Please discuss with me, any other payment options you may prefer.
A Late Fee of $25 will be charged for lessons not paid on the 1st lesson of the month.
CancelLations
-
Students may cancel lessons at any time, but must give 2 full weeks of permanent withdrawal. Any remaining post-dated cheques will be returned. If the withdrawal is temporary ( ie. other activity scheduling conflict), payments must be continued if you want your time slot held.
-
Each student has a reserved lesson time, and is responsible for that time. If your child becomes sick or is otherwise not able to attend their lesson, please call me as soon as possible because I schedule each day based on the assumption that every student will attend.
-
If I am ever unable to give your child a lesson due to an unforeseen circumstance or sickness, I will notify you as soon as possible. You will not be charged for lessons I cancel, and overpayments can be taken off of a subsequent month, after we discuss it.
-
Missed lessons will not be made up or refunded, unless they are cancelled by me.
Books
-
Any books or music purchased for you by myself must be paid for by the following lesson of receiving the book(s).
-
Students are expected to come prepared to every lesson, bringing their books with them. IF books are forgotten, I sometimes have spares, and I ALWAYS have other music-related activities to keep students busy!
